By using the Site or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Ownership and Corporate Structure

AEMagus is a trading brand owned and operated by Wortonic Ltd ('Company', 'we', 'us' or 'our'). Services provided under the AEMagus brand are provided by Wortonic Ltd.

2. Nature of Services and AI Diagnostics

AEMagus provides Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), website visibility audits, crawlability checks, structured data reviews and related advisory services. Our work is designed to help make your website clearer and easier for search tools, AI tools and answer engines to read and understand.

You acknowledge and accept that:

Third-party AI systems change: Large language models and AI tools, including services such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, are operated by third parties. Their systems, results and recommendation methods can change at any time and are outside our control.
No guarantee of ranking or AI mentions: Our audits and recommendations are intended to improve machine-readability, business clarity and trust signals. We do not guarantee any specific search ranking, AI recommendation, AI mention, inclusion, visibility position or permanent result inside third-party AI or search systems.
No guarantee of leads or sales: Our work improves how clearly AI systems and search tools can read and understand your business. We do not, and cannot, guarantee any specific number of enquiries, leads, customers or sales as a result.
Advisory information: Reports, scores, graphics and audit outputs are provided for information and guidance. They are not legal, financial or technical deployment advice for your specific website infrastructure.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless we state otherwise, the content, design, code, layouts, graphics, written materials, reports, methodologies, brand names and frameworks used on the Site or in AEMagus report systems belong to Wortonic Ltd or are licensed to us.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, clone or repurpose our website, reports, code, frameworks or branded materials without our written permission.

4. User Responsibilities and Website Changes

If you apply recommendations from an AEMagus report or audit, you are responsible for checking, testing and safely implementing those changes on your own website, server, content management system or hosting account.

This includes changes such as schema markup, robots.txt rules, sitemap updates, .htaccess changes, redirects, tracking scripts, content edits or other technical changes. If you are unsure, you should use a suitably qualified web developer or technical adviser.

5. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to the above, Wortonic Ltd will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our audits, reports or recommendations, including any changes you make to your own website, content, server or digital channels based on them.

We are not responsible for changes made by third-party search engines, AI systems, hosting providers, plugins, platforms or tools, or for loss caused by crawler blocks, indexing changes, technical faults, incorrect implementation, data omissions or changes outside our control.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these Terms, the Site or our services will be dealt with under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or the law. We will post the current version here with the 'Last Updated' date. If a change is significant, we will aim to make that clear.

Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
